Book Review Format
Five A4 pages
Front page (Page 1) – design a new book cover: picture, name of author, and your name.

Page 2 – Description: outline the main points of the story (plot) without giving the ending away. Only include the main points!

- Draw your favourite characters with speech bubbles of their best quotations. E.g.:
Page 4 – Evaluation: give your own opinion of the book, its strengths and weaknesses, backing each of your points up with examples from the text.
4 points = 4 paragraphs - remember to use one point per paragraph.
—Make sure your criticism is constructive (i.e. not a long list of complaints). Balance your viewpoint (i.e. choose two positive points and one negative if you dislike the book, or vice versa if you like it).

Page 5 - Recommendation: this is an opinion as to whether the reader should buy the product or not. Suggest the type of reader who might like it. Compare it to other books you may have read (if possible to do so).
Give it a star rating at the end as follows: *****, where 5 stars = excellent, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = satisfactory, and 1 = poor
